Hello everyone, hope you are all well. Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on what’s going on within the Terrorizer camp. Pete called me up with Jesse and they are very, very excited about playing and jamming and pounding out this new record. It was funny because when I was talking to them it sounded like two excited kids going to there first concert or something…It was really cool. They were telling me how excited they are to record and tour after the record is released. They also wanted me to tell you how much they appreciate all of the fans and friends around the world for giving them so much support in emails, on My Space, on the website, etc… I can tell you that they are really having a great time doing this!
Just to give everyone a heads up on things, the domain name here is about to change to www.terrorizergrindcore.com possibly as soon as tomorrow. Legendary Grindcore act Terrorizer sign with Century Media Records!
Legendary grindcore pioneers Terrorizer, have signed to Century Media Records worldwide. Released in 1989, the bands highly acclaimed and influential debut album World Downfall (Earache Records) took the metal scene by storm. With an as yet unheard of aggression the band became a cult institution even though they quickly disbanded. Following the break up the main founding members, drummer Pete Sandoval and guitarist Jesse Pintado, moved on to join legendary extreme bands Morbid Angel and Napalm Death respectively.
The band remained popular through the next 16 years with newer acts citing inspiration from World Downfall. The massive amount of available bootleg recordings and band merchandise as well as rumors of a follow-up album kept Terrorizer’s name alive. Now, after what might seem like an eternity of silence, the band have signed a worldwide deal with Robert Kampf, owner of Century Media. Sandoval and Pintado have already started working on a new studio album, to be recorded early 2006 in Florida with producer Juan “Punchy” Gonzalez (Morbid Angel, Unholy Ghost, Christian Death, Diet of Worms etc.) for a summer 2006 release.
“After long negotiations with several labels, it’s official: Terrorizer and World Management are happy to announce the new album will be on Century Media,” commented the band.

January 06, 2006: Legendary Grindcore act Terrorizer signs with Century Media Records!
In today’s extreme music scene only a few bands deserve to be seen as “legendary” and Grindcore Pioneers Terrorizer certainly belong as one of those groups. Having released their highly acclaimed and influential debut album “World Downfall” in 1989 (via Earache Records), the band took the scene by storm with an aggression that had been unheard of until then and which consequently lead this underground outfit to become a cult institution even after their quick disbanding, which saw the musicians on the album concentrate on their future main bands: Pete Sandoval (drums) with Morbid Angel and Jesse Pintado (guitars) with Napalm Death.
The band’s popularity remained through the years with plenty of newer acts citing inspiration from “World Downfall”. The massive amount of available bootleg-recordings and band merchandise as well as rumors of a follow-up album kept Terrorizer’s name well alive throughout the years.
Now, after what might seem like an eternity of silence the band signed a world wide deal with Robert Kampf, owner of Century Media. Original forming members Pete and Jesse have started working on a new studio album, to be recorded early 2006 in Florida with producer Juan “Punchy” Gonzalez (Morbid Angel, Unholy Ghost, Christian Death, Diet of Worms etc.) for a summer 2006 release via the label.
“After long negotiations with several labels, it’s official: Terrorizer and World Management are happy to announce the new album will be on Century Media”, comments the band.

January 05, 2006: OK the word seems to be getting out and Terrorizer is gearing up to grind the world into submission. Here is the latest news…
Band member announcement
Introducing Tony Norman of Morbid Angel – Bass Guitar
Pete and Jesse would like to welcome into the Terrorizer family guitarist Tony Norman (Monstrosity, Morbid Angel) and Tony Militia (Resistant Culture). As one of the front runners in the Florida death metal scene, Tony Norman and Monstrosity began their course in late 1990. Underground tape trading and strong international networking made Monstrosity a viable entity in the metal realm with their infamous “Horror Infinity” demo and the band was signed by Nuclear Blast Records Germany. The bands first effort was to be called “Imperial Doom” and is now considered a death metal classic. The album went on to sell over 40,000 units worldwide and received excellent ratings in the press and developed a cult following of fans. A triumphant tour of Europe was accomplished by traveling to Austria, Holland, Germany and Switzerland. While in Germany, the group shot a video clip of the song “Final Cremation” and was later released on a video compilation “Death is the Beginning by Nuclear Blast Records. Upon release in the United States, “Imperial Doom” placed # 21 in sales on the CMJ charts. With disagreements with Nuclear Blast regarding royalties, Monstrosity left the record label. Consequently, Monstrosity signed with Conquest Music in the United States of America. With the second release, “Millennium”, the band showcased stronger playing techniques with more focused musical arrangements. The album release was launched with the “Extremities Tour”, a seven week tour of North America. The editor of Metal Maniacs Magazine selected “Millennium” number one on his play list and the album placed # 19 on the CMJ Loud Rock charts. “Millennium” was simultaneously released on Nuclear Blast Germany as Conquest licensed the album to the label in Europe. Concentrating on touring after the second release, Monstrosity forged ahead playing shows in Mexico City, Mexico, Lima, Peru and Bogotá, Columbia, then followed with a tour with Polish master-blasters Vader in Europe taking Monstrosity to nine countries in four weeks! With touring done and out of the way, Monstrosity went back in the studio and emerged this time with “In Dark Purity”. Their third album contained 14 songs including a cover of the legendary super group Slayer’s “Angel of Death”. A track which proved that Monstrosity is one of the finest among the death metal elite. “In Dark Purity” hit all the way up to # 9 on the CMJ college radio music charts. Conquest Music licensed this album to Olympic / Slip Disc in the United States for the Mercury distribution pushing their sales right up there consistent with their debut album, “Imperial Doom”, which had been issued years earlier. Now, they bring to the table, a double CD titled “Enslaving the Masses”. Disc one consists of remixed versions from “Imperial Doom”, the raw and brutal songs of “Horror Infinity” and songs from Slaves and Masters. All vocals are those of George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher, now front man of Cannibal Corpse and a co-founder of Monstrosity. Disc two is a “live” album recorded during different shows and mixed and mastered at the legendary Morrisound Studios. New vocalist, Jason Avery, shows on Disc two that he can more than fill the “Corpsegrinders” tomb. “Enslaving the Masses” can be found in stores worldwide. Unfortunately, Monstrosity's vocalist, Jason Avery, could no longer continue with the band due to personal reasons. Consequently, Sam Molina was recruited to take over the vocal duties. Monstrosity then proceeded to tour some 80 cities over the spring and summer in support of “Enslaving the Masses”. With crowds of 500 in Texas (U.S.A.), 600 in Rimouski, Quebec Province Canada, 400 in Montreal Quebec Province, Canada and 400 in Los Angeles, California (U.S.A.) to name a few. Monstrosity was one of the hardest working bands on the scene. Tony Norman who now plays guitar full time in death metal recording artists “Morbid Angel” with Pete Sandoval (drums), David Vincent (bass) and Trey Azagthoth (guitars), will surprisingly be playing bass for Terrorizer. Morbid Angel is one of if not the most celebrated band in the genre, if you have not heard of them at this point…
Introducing Tony Militia of Resistant Culture
“Resistant Culture is a collective of dedicated artists who work to create sounds and visuals that reflect a poetic vision of the struggle to survive” says front man Tony Militia. With the world in a state of disorder as a result of the cancerous growth of industrial domination, Resistant Culture are perched at the brink of either great destruction or great transformation. Resistant Culture confronts this critical moment in history with sonic offerings rooted in the resilience of the human spirit. This tribal crust – pro-peace band encourages you to explore there websites for further understanding of there work and philosophy. Resistant are a grateful bunch people that are thankful for all the relations they've made. “We thank you for all the support we received and for all the different projects we've accomplished, such as the release of our full length CD “Welcome to Reality”. Resistant culture has released several records on there own independent record label called, “Seventh Generation Records”. Based out of Southern California, Resistant Culture so far has released including a long awaited 4-way split with our sisters and brothers: Resist and Exist, Contravene, and Fallas Del Sistema. Spiral Records has released a CD and Catchphraze Records has release a 12" vinyl edition. Resistant Culture’s root structure extends deep in tree of music that has give life to many generations of bands and sub-cultural identities. In its original form going back to the 1980s the band was called Resistant Militia. This band was one of many emerging at the time in the Los Angeles area that combined the arts of punk and metal to incite a new movement that was heavy, loud, and dark; viscerally political and aggressive. Seminal bands such as Resistant Militia and Terrorizer helped spawn genres including crust, grindcore, and other subcategories united thoughtful anthems of resistance and autonomy and bone-crushing mosh-inducing riffage. Resistant Militia saw countless musicians come and go; besides Anthony, only one other member has persevered beyond the last several years. Katina, a classically trained guitarist brought a high degree of sophistication to the musical and technical aspects of the band. Needless to say, she brought an empowered masterful female presence to the often jockish sexist male dominated metal scene, blowing most guys off the stage with meticulous precise effortless playing and a thrashing storm of head-banging. Katina and Anthony have been sustaining the “Resistant Culture” name through various musical incarnations for about a decade. Later Ralph, a guru experimental jazz / punk bassist of “Universal Congress of...” fame joined, adding yet another voice of resistance to the radical message of Resistant Culture. His diverse musical background brought previously unrepresented elements to the band. Most important though was his common drive towards positive healthy spiritual empowerment through music as opposed to the rampant patterns of self-destruction that plague the music scene. This unit, plus a couple more passing drummers brought the band through its first full-length CD release entitled “Ancient Future” and through to 2003 when they recruited anarcho-punk Hessian, Ben Axiom, who coincidentally recorded a crust-punk record at 16 in 1997 entitled “Establishing a Culture of Resistance...” Influenced by bands such as Napalm Death, his study of the arts of metal and resistance led him to his respected elders in Resistant Culture. If the circle had not come full enough by this point, a final cosmic dimension was recently added; Jesse Pintado (Terrorizer / former Napalm Death, Lock Up) a long time friend of “Tony Militia” (A.K.A. Anthony) has been writing, recording and playing with R.C. since 2004. The initial vision of blending hardcore, tribal grind and punk has found the right mixture of experience, age and personality, it's the seamless musical development of hardcore and tribal music that has weaved the indigenous flute, rattle, tribal drum and chant into an organic and flowing tapestry. The indigenous influence in the music is the personal relation to native culture from three members in the band; Anthony, Katina, and Jesse are of indigenous descent. In 1991 Anthony had a vision of empowering native youth through music that fuses traditional indigenous instruments and philosophy with extreme contemporary music. Before embarking on this journey, Anthony sought the advice of elders. Several agreed that it would be a good thing to use his music as tool of cultural survival because kids today don't want to listen to the elders. With Resistant Culture for a name it represents a struggle of a people, a philosophy, and a culture on the brink of extinction. As a band and concept, Resistant Culture has its fingers in many different projects. Beyond touring and playing throughout southern California, Resistant Culture also often plays at and helps organize many different grass-roots events to help benefit the community. It's the idea of bringing extreme music with a progressive spirit and a do-it-yourself approach that has kept Resistant Culture on a steady and evolving path that has moved and influenced musicians, other artists, and its growing fan base. Resistant Culture hopes to be a positive and empowering response to the emptiness of most formats of modern music. Whereas all peoples were once tribal and singing along to songs that taught them stories of origin, balance, respect, and harmony with each other and the Earth, modernity's anthems are of waste, self-destruction, self-indulgence, cultural decline, and ecological negligence. While narcissism and nihilism have poisoned the spirits of all trapped within the sterile walls of industrial civilization, Resistant Culture hopes to provide an alternative approach that involves the reclamation of health, community, and autonomy on all levels. They look to the source of life, Mother Earth, for wisdom and strength and want more than anything else for all those influenced by their music to look under their feet and beyond the industrial horizon and reconnect with their long lost relatives, the Earth, the Sky, the Sun, and all of our relations. They want to provide the soundtrack for a new cultural uprising based on respect for nature and indigenous culture worldwide. With all of our performance, art, recordings, and relations it is our passion to create networks based on love, a dark, fiery love that remains resistant.

Record Label Announcement

December 04, 2005
It is with great honor and privilege that I announce to you that one of the most legendry and influential grindcore bands ever to batter your ears and blast your mind, Terrorizer has partnered up with the industries most powerful and one of the most respected metal records label Century Media Records.
“This is a big step in the process for everyone involved with Terrorizer and we are pleased to announce the great news” – Jesse Pintado Guitarist for Terrorizer. Over the past several months we have all undergone many ups and down. Tireless preparations have gone into the revival of the long since dead and gone group. Terrorizer has been using online and internet promotion through various mediums including the notorious My Space. Terrorizer has a fan and friend based website run by Cycotrybe Enterprises, Mykul Japhet (Napalm Death’s family of bands and My Space family of bands webmaster) Terrorizer’s website is temporarily located at: www.freewebs.com/terrorizergrindcore
Terrorizer will consist of one half of its original line up. B.C. Rich sponsored, Jesse Pintado (former Napalm Death / Lock Up infamy) will grind out the guitars and Pete Sandoval (Morbid Angel) will play some of the fastest drumming in recorded history. Introducing themselves to the Terrorizer fold are Guitarist Tony Norman (Morbid Angel) and Tony Militia (Resistant Culture). Many people have asked why Oscar Garcia (Nausea) and David Vincent are not returning. Simply put, Oscar is no longer interested in Terrorizer and wants to focus on his own band Nausea.
To give Terrorizer’s fans some incite as to what one may expect from the long awaited new release, “It will be different but in the Terrorizer vain” says guitarist Jesse Pintado. There are talks of introducing classical piano parts, industrial noise parts and chants on the new record. A thirteen minute plus song is in the works as well as some of the fastest drumming ever put to tape. Recording sessions are set to begin in January 2006.
Big thank thanks and shout outs go out to Gunter Ford (World Management, World 3095 Records) for his, friendship, negotiations, management and trustworthiness. We also want to thank everyone at Century Media Records for supporting Terrorizer’s new incarnation. And last but not least the dedicated and loyal fans here in America and all across the globe. Terrorizer is a band that you will not soon forget! More information to follow...

There is a new section or two that is being added to this website called Rants and Raves. I am using it as a launch pad to set up a discussion board so fans can interact more. I have been busy writing up Bio’s for the classic line up as well as the new line up. I will also be placing “introductions” if you will on the website very soon regarding the newest Terrorizer band members. There’s a lot of other shit going on also, too much to mention at this point! So anyways, Jesse says hello to everyone and appreciates your support! Thanks once again for stopping by!
December 03, 2005: I don’t even know where to start! So much is going on that right now, it’s overwhelming! Anyhow, updates will now start to become more and more frequent as the new Terrorizer legacy is being reborn…
So where to begin? Well, let’s see…To start out, once again multiple updates are being done to the website today and over the next few weeks as things start to unfold. I just want to explain something first about this though… As some of you more frequent visitors know, Terrorizer has been my main focus for a while now as well as Napalm Death and there various side bands and musical creations. I also happen to do most of the websites for many of the Napalm related of shoots on the Freewebs.com Server and or the My Space.com Server. It is a complete fuck load of work to maintain and I always don’t have the time to do all the websites proper justice. Like most of you, I also work full time and then some, study and have a very busy life; I play in many bands, coordinate hardcore shows, I am starting my own record label and trying to do everything under the sun to support the new Terrorizer opus, fffhhhheeeeewwwww!! That’s just to name a few things! I mean shit, I’m not complaining, but sometimes I feel like I am busier than 666 eight armed octopuses trying to sort out an aquatic mosh pit!
Du, so that was fucking retarded, anyways…as I have been announcing on Terrorizer’s My Space.com website, there are many exciting things happening and there will be some major announcements regarding the new Terrorizer opus. Over the next couple of weeks there will be some announcements made regarding Terrorizer’s new line up and its band members, as well as Terrorizer’s brand new Record Label!
I also wanted to point out a minor fuck up on my part. Because I have been so busy, I totally forgot to tell all of you that yet another brand new website has been added to the Terrorizer arsenal. If you scroll down a little bit, you will notice that a Pure Volume.com website has been added for Terrorizer. Admittedly, it’s kind of shitty (but this is only for the moment). Basically I created the website for all of you die hard Terrorizer fans from the old school and also to present and introduce the music to the new school fans. Ultimately the website will be used in conjunction with this website and My Space to launch a couple of brand new Terrorizer blast beats…
I want to tell everyone as much as I can! But if I did all of that at once, what fun would that be? Hopefully it will keep the traffic high up on the websites and hopefully the word will begin to spread more and more!
What I do wish to communicate with everyone right now is that this past week, Terrorizer has signed a contract with a MAJOR record label! There will be a major announcement soon about that in the very near future (within two weeks perhaps!) Also Terrorizer will be creating horrifying grindcore sounds and blastic obliterations in the recording the studio (in Florida) starting in January 2006!
We are so fucking excited! OK, well it’s back to work for us now. Like I said, stay tuned and tell some friends the beginning of the end of the end of the beginning of a new era is…

November 24, 2005: What are you thankful for?
November 12, 2005: Well things have been quite for a little while. I do have some cool news for all of you Terrorizer fans. We have opened up yet another website! It is located here at: www.purevolume.com/terrorizer
Here you will find some more classic tracks as well as a brand new demo track that was recorded in the winter of 2004. It is a very rough mix of a song, but we decided to place it on there just as a tease for some things that are yet to come. The recording of the new record has been pushed back up to January 2006. After that we will launch a new song on this and the Pure Volume website!

Thanks for your support and loyalty! Don’t forget to check out Terrorizer on My Space and sign our guestbook’s! More information is coming soon, until next time, grind it!
October 08, 2005: Some old school photos are being added this week all over the website. Working on getting the new photographs soon. We also found the mash up thing with the Terrorizer and 50 Cent. It is fucking bizarre! I will putting the song on this website soon for everyone to get a good laugh! It really is fucking art from a sick and twisted dude, but we love it!
September 23, 2005: Jesse Pintado / B.C. Rich photo shoot this morning, more information to follow… Also if anyone knows how to get in touch with a grindcore fan named Chad Boltz (of Monistat 7 fame) could you drop us a line? We would really love to hear what he did with the old school Terrorizer song. We think it is wicked funny!
September 03, 2005: Check out our brand new Terrorizer website on My Space! Please visit:

August 30, 2005: This almost made me fall of my fucking rocker! This is a story from www.mtv.com
Metalhead Introduces 50 and Missy to Terrorizer and Carcass
August, 29, 2005 8:09 PM EDT
Outkast, Shakira, Destiny's Child also given a metal makeover. Destiny's Child and Godflesh…
Some things in life just shouldn't be mixed – smoked salmon and, say, cotton candy, for example. Plaid shirts with paisley shorts. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Queen's English. The music of death-metal mavens Carcass and the hip-hop flava of Missy Elliott. All are combinations that make little sense.
But when you're Chad Boltz, mixing and matching some of today's biggest pop stars with some of the earliest architects of grindcore and industrial metal makes perfect sense – you've just got to have the ear for it.
Boltz, a mash-ups aficionado who lives in Denver, said it dawned on him one afternoon while he was working at one of the Mile High City's independent record stores. He was listening to a Boom Selection compilation CD of mashes and figured if artists like Jay-Z and Linkin Park could be fused together, perhaps some of storied metal label Earache Records' catalog could be intertwined with pop acts like Destiny's Child and Sean Paul. "I thought it would be kind of cool to remake some of the old-school Earache stuff that I listen to, like the old grindcore stuff, with pop, because they're just so different," explained Boltz, a guitarist who once played in defunct grind band Monistat 7, which released the album Now Available Without a Prescription in 1994. "I listen to a wide range of music, so I don't mind pop so much. I figured putting the vocals to metal songs might sound interesting.”
His experimentation led to seven monstrosities that he posted online. Links to his Web site, xxx.reek.tv/x.htm, popped up on heavy-metal message boards, and in no time the elite were calling for his head. His site was ill-equipped to handle the increase in traffic, and Boltz's domain was crippled for more than month.
While he said there's no reliable method to measure just how many people downloaded the free tracks, Boltz said the songs continue to make the Internet rounds. While he's proud of all of the mash-ups – including Outkast's "Bombs Over Baghdad" crossed with Entombed's “Sinners Bleed,” Shakira's “Whenever, Wherever” spliced with Napalm Death's “Suffer the Children,” and 50 Cent's “In Da Club” paired with Terrorizer's “After World Obliteration” – his favorite is Destiny's Child's “Survivor” merged with Godflesh's "Dead Head.”
“The industrial tracks are easier to swallow than the grindcore ones, because the tempo changes aren't as frequent," he surmised. "It turned out really well, but it's much harder than people think. I tried forever to do stuff with Bolt Thrower, but the tempos change too much. It's the same with most metal songs, actually.”
Of course, not all of Boltz's experimentation yielded listenable results. One mash-up he thought for sure would come out superb was Beyoncé's "Naughty Girl" meets Korn's “Shoots and Ladders.”
“It ended up sounding like two songs being played at the same time,” said Boltz, who's putting the finishing touches on his latest musical Frankenstein's monster: Kelis' “Milkshake” bonded with Ministry's “Thieves.”
Surprisingly, none of the labels for the pop star victims of Boltz's creations have contacted him about the mash-ups. But he did get an e-mail from Earache founder Digby Pearson. “He just said he doesn't understand why I did it,” he said. “He told me it was a good idea that didn't work out, and that metal never needed to be fused with this music. But if any of the big labels (for some of the pop acts) have a problem with it, that's fine. I'm not making any money off of this. I just want people to download them – that's the spirit of mash-ups, really. But if they want them down, oh well.”

August 01, 2005: There is quite a bit of information now on the website. So it finally looks like it is starting to shape up a bit! Please feel free to surf around a bit. I have added a pole to the website which is kind of cool. So please be sure and participate! Also there are some classic MP3’s and Videos from the way early days that are waiting for you to be downloaded. Most of you that already know all there is to know about Terrorizer may not be too impressed or surprised, but we did decide to put some stuff up on there for anyone that is interested. I promise you though overtime there will be some new stuff added. I am also looking to add a message board to this website, more on that a little later. I am also working on a video for one of the new Terrorizer songs. Video editing is a bit new to me, so hopefully it all goes well! Let’s see what else can I rant on… My record label “Round-House-Wreck-Chords” will be releasing a 7” record with brand new Terrorizer music on it. I can not give a release date or a target date yet, but eventually it will happen. I am a very busy bastard and I have my hands, head and heart into a lot of things, but I will do my best to give this website as much attention as I possibly can! OK talk you all again soon, Myk the webmaster.
July 30, 2005: Yawn, it is too damn early for me! Anyways, I am looking for a way to import a message board on the website. So if anyone can help or has any suggestions please get in touch, thanks! Also thank you for staying positive here and your support for the Terrorizer – Nausea – Majesty family of bands, cheers, Myk the webmaster….
Also in other news, sorry that some of the photos that are currently being used on this website are old inaccurate for the times or outdated. This new Terrorizer site is a constant work in progress. So new information is being changed or added almost weekly. And of course if you have anything to add, I will certainly consider it to be added to the website. Basically this website is not only the brand new official website for Terrorizer, but is a standing tribute to the legacy that the original band left and to its future. Whether you know them just from the “World Downfall” record or you are a L.A. local right from the beginning of the scene, this is a place to honor the bands efforts. I know that some people seem very interested or concerned in what is happening with Jesse, his bands and what the new Terrorizer Record will sound like. I can tell you that it will grind like the first album from a decade and a half ago, and yes it will more than likely be quite different. I mean how many years has it been?! So for those of you that I have been chatting with on and off over the last couple of weeks, I really appreciate your expertise and incite. We just want to keep this place as positive and as cool as possible. Let this place be a tribute to the past and what ever future of Terrorizer’s, Nausea’s and Majesty’s wicked efforts. Let it be a tribute to real L.A. Grind, Mexican Punk and whatever else you want to dub it. Fuck knows I am none of these, but I am a good friend to Jesse and a huge fan of all Los Angels California total fucking alacrity whirlwind FUCKING grindcore! Cheers, Myk the webmaster from New York.

If you feel that you can contribute to the building of this website, please get in touch: terrorizergrindcore@hotmail.com Over the next few months we will be adding all kinds of photos, information, interviews both from the old days and the new. Also (this should get you very excited!) some BRAND NEW TERRORIZER SONGS! That right, you've read this correctly. January 16, 2005: The web links for "Napalm Death family of bands" are being updated this week.
June 17, 2004: MORBID ANGEL guitarist Trey Azagthoth has revealed plans to collaborate with THE GATHERING singer Anneke van Giersbergen on an as-yet-unnamed new project. "I really hope and believe that this dream of mine will come true some day," he told Finland's Sonera Plaza. “I'd really like to hear what kind of [end result we could come up with] when my playing and her beautiful singing [are meshed together]. I'm sure we could even create a totally new style of music... but let's see if our schedules coincide and we can find some time [to work on some material together].”
In other MORBID ANGEL-related news, the group's drummer Pete Sandoval has told Sonera Plaza that he hopes to enter the studio later in the year to record the long-awaited new TERRORIZER album. "I know that there has been rumors over the years [about the band recording the follow-up to 1989's 'World Downfall'] but this time it's really going to happen, I'm going to force the other guys into the studio with me if I have to]! On the album, there's going to be me, Oscar Garcia [vocals] and Jesse Pintado (guitar, NAPALM DEATH, LOCKUP)
With regards to the musical direction of the new TERRORIZER album, Sandoval said, "It's gonna be like the first TERRORIZER album... I mean, the sound of the album is going to be about the same. Maybe I'll play a little bit faster though..."
On the subject of other possible side projects, Pete said, "I really love classical music and composers like Beethoven, Chopin and Mozart. I have written some music on piano and keyboards over the years and I hope to one day release an album which will contain only drums and piano. And maybe a female singer could sing on some of the songs as well.
“I am also going to release an instructional video for young drummers," Sandoval added. "I am going to sell it via the Internet. So many people have come up to me and asked me, 'How do you play such and such song?' and I can't explain it in words, I have to show them how I play! So I am going to play, for example, some MORBID ANGEL songs for that video. I will start by playing slow and then I will gradually get faster until I am finally playing the song at full speed. I really want people to see how I play these songs like 'Bil Ur-Sag'.”
(Thanks: Timo Isoaho / Sonera Plaza)
July 14 2004: Alas the Terrorizer website is born!
